SIX WAYS

AMERICAN EDUCATION

Education is vital for the development and progress of a country. Across the course of Western history, the country that has had the most exceptional education system has consistently produced the most brilliant intellectuals and trailblazers. The United States spends almost one trillion dollars annually on public education, surpassing all other countries worldwide in expenditure. However, our education system is very poor at its highest level and just mediocre at its lowest level. Our competitive advantage has been diminishing, in part, as a result of our inadequate education system.

Given the existing framework of our education system, a significant economic downturn in the United States that can result in a 40 to 50% reduction in education funding by states would lead to the complete breakdown of the education system and propel the country toward self-destruction. In light of an impending recession, it is imperative that our leaders take proactive measures and implement major reforms to the existing system promptly before it collapses.

This book offers six recommendations to achieve an annual cost reduction of 432 billion dollars for taxpayers in the realm of public education. This strategy will not only have a positive impact on all persons, but it will also reduce the hardship experienced by those with fixed incomes while enhancing the quality and effectiveness of the education system. Real change is initiated by bold leaders who possess the ability to anticipate future needs and the bravery to make decisions that benefit our future generations.
